What to Expect

When you arrive, you will be greeted by our friendly receptionist for check-in. If you are a new client, please arrive 15 minutes early so they can obtain information about you and your pet. You will then be brought into the room by one of our veterinary assistants who will get the weight and temperature of your pet and discuss the reason for today’s visit.

The veterinarian will then join you and perform a nose-to-tail exam and go over any diagnostics, procedures, and/or treatments that may need to be performed. From there, it’s back to the reception desk. Within a visit or two, you’ll get to know us all very well!

Being a vacation town, we are used to having out-of-town or part-time patients. We will work with your other veterinarian to transfer records and make sure everyone is on the same page regarding your pet’s care. If you have records from your other veterinarian, it will be helpful if you can bring them with you. If you do not have them, it’s not a problem; We will contact your other veterinarian to have your pet’s medical history faxed.
